Sebastian Hejnowski He/Him

He is a renowned expert in the field of Public Relations and Public Affairs. Sebastian has more then 20 years of experience in communications. He headed regional offices of Europe’s top PR agency MSL and was a part of MSL’s European Streeting Committee. Under his guidance, MSL was recognized as Eastern European Consultancy of the Year at EMEA SABRE Awards, three times in the last decade (2015, 2017 and 2019). Furthermore over years 2017- 2020 he was Leo Burnett & Publicis Groupe executive in Poland.

Sebastian managed communication strategies for various clients in different sectors including IT, airlines, finance, media, FMCG & NGO’s. Sebastian is involved in current trade, social and political affairs. He served as a judge in Europe’s trade contests, such as the Golden Drum, Cristal Festival and Złote Spinacze.

Igor Ostrowski He/Him

Igor Ostrowski is an openly gay accomplished Polish lawyer and partner at Dentons, leading the Global Consumer Industry group, consisting of over 2500 attorneys in over 200 Offices across over 80 countries.  Having grown up in Communist Poland Igor faced discrimination and social isolation. The situation in recent years has again deteriorated due to a new wave of political conservatism, which has swept through Poland. Igor wants to “pay it forward” by using his position of influence to raise awareness and help shape policy to advance LGBT+ inclusion. He is a visible activist, devoting himself to pro bono legal support to a number of LGBT organizations and defending the human rights of the LGBT community.

In addition to his legal practice and pro bono activities, Igor serves on several committees, which advise Dentons’ leadership on strategic issues related to inclusion. These advisory groups include the Global Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Europe Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and Global LGBT+ Network Committee. For his work, he was recognized as Stonewall’s Global Senior Champion of the year in 2020 and awarded as LGBT Lawyer of the Year by Chambers Europe in 2019.

Olimpia Kastrau She/Her

Olimpia oversees the overall operation of the Equaversity and directs the foundation’s communications. She is in charge of the organisation’s communication strategy, with a focus on media, digital, and branding. Olimpia recently graduated from the University of the Arts in London, where she was honoured by the Chartered Management Institute for demonstrating significant levels of expertise in sustainable management and leadership theories. She moved to Paris and now works in the media and communications sector. When she is not working, Olimpia is an outspoken supporter of the Equaversity Foundation.

Ewa Grabek She/Her

Ewa was born in the most homophobic town in Poland. In her free time, she works as an anti-discrimination educator, a local activist, and a queer artist. Ewa has a strong background in public relations and personal branding. She earned a degree in social communication, with a specialisation in public relations and media marketing. She was one of the first diversity and inclusion educators in the Polish Scouting Association, Poland’s largest youth organisation. She is also the author of the first academic study on the influence of coming out on a Polish athlete’s personal brand.

Aleksandra Maksym She/Her

Meet Ola, a dynamic individual contributing to the success of fundraising initiatives by seamlessly coordinating efforts with companies abroad. Fluent in French, Polish, and English, and currently expanding her linguistic repertoire with German studies, Ola’s language proficiency allows her to bridge cultural gaps effortlessly, aligning perfectly with the global nature of fundraising. Ola’s role goes beyond linguistic finesse; her sociable and kind nature fosters effective collaboration, both within the team and when engaging with international partners. Her ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds adds a personal touch to the fundraising process, making it more inclusive and impactful. Outside the office, Ola reveals her creative side by playing the piano, showcasing a passion for the arts. Additionally, her indulgence in 19th-century French literature reflects a deep appreciation for cultural richness and historical perspectives

Sara Wilczynska She/Her

Sara Wilczyńska was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. She graduated in Computer Science and works as a software engineer at Google. She is passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. After living in Barcelona, Edinburgh, London, Zurich and New York, she settled with her partner in Southern California. She teaches yoga and meditation and is a sound healing practitioner. She enjoys cooking, hiking, travelling, writing fiction, and designing interior decoration.

Magdalena Zglobica She/Her

Lawyer, activist and openly queer. Magdalena involves in numerous human rights and pro bono initiatives and contributes to Equaversity Foundation’s legal operations. She is dedicated to support equal rights and improving the social situation of the LGBTQ+ and minority groups. Day-to-day she works in one of the international law firm’s Warsaw offices. Co-founder and board member of the NoBorder Foundation. Graduate of Jagiellonian University, as well as American Law Program, organized in collaboration with the Catholic University of America.

Ksawery Kieli He/Him

Ksawery was part of Equaversity’s founding team. Following the establishment of the Foundation, he worked as a project manager and was strongly involved in the development of the Equaversity. Ksawery is currently contributing to Equaversity on a part-time basis while completing his master’s degree in conflict studies at the London School of Economics.
